With over 35 years in the flooring industry, Michael has basically forgotten what it’s like to walk on anything but premium hardwood or plush carpet. At Carpet One, he’s the go-to expert for driving sales and building rock-solid partnerships with designers and trade professionals. He knows floors better than most people know their own phone numbers. When he’s not busy talking shop, Michael is usually spending time with his family or being out-negotiated for couch space by his two dogs, Sammy and Finn. Sales Manager
Tabitha joined the Carpet One crew in June 2020 and recently levelled up to Sales Manager. Known for her stellar customer relationships and a genuine passion for bringing client projects to life, she’s become the heart and hustle of the team. When she’s not busy turning flooring dreams into reality, Tabitha is usually off the grid camping, soaking up time with her little family, and making memories with her beloved rescue dog. She also has a bit of a thing for rocks—seriously, if you find a cool stone, she’d probably love to see it! Friendly, dedicated, and just a little bit earthy, Tabitha is here to make your next home project a breeze.
Operations Manager
Samantha joined the team in 2024, stepping into the role of Operations Manager with a sharp background in finance, public accounting, and a legendary ability to keep the chaos at bay. Armed with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Services, she’s the perfect blend of a precision-focused spreadsheet wizard and the office’s favourite breath of fresh air. When she isn’t keeping our gears turning behind the scenes, Samantha is likely writing, getting lost in a playlist, or soaking up the great outdoors. She’s a firm believer in balancing hard work with good vibes, often spending her downtime with friends, family, and her two very important feline co-workers who—let’s be honest—probably think they’re the ones in charge.
New Build Specialist
Meet Greg, the man who started it all. Way back in the early 1990s, he purchased Sidney Inn Carpet—the shop we now know and love as Carpet One. After decades in the game, Greg’s brain has become a walking flooring encyclopedia; he can spot a renovation hiccup and solve it before you even realize you have one. While he recently handed the keys of the castle over to Andrew and Tyler, Greg remains the heart, soul, and resident comedian of the store. Whether you need expert design advice or just a good laugh while picking out tile, Greg is your guy.
Co Owner
Andrew has been walking on high-quality flooring since he could crawl. Growing up in the industry alongside his father, Greg—who purchased Sidney Inn Carpet back in the early 1990s—Andrew practically has sawdust and carpet fibers in his DNA. After a lifetime of learning the ropes and the rugs, he recently leveled up to become a part-owner of Carpet One alongside Tyler. Andrew’s approach to business is simple: treat the community like family and make sure every floor looks better than he found it. When he isn’t busy helping customers find the perfect flooring solution, he’s usually out losing golf balls, cheering on a baseball game, or holding his own as the only man in a house full of his wife and three daughters.
Co Owner
Tyler has been a staple at Carpet One for nearly a decade, and he recently decided to make things official by becoming a part-owner alongside Andrew. With ten years of industry experience under his belt, Tyler is basically the floor whisperer of the team, dedicated to making sure every customer walks away happy—and on a top-tier surface. When he’s not busy growing the business, Tyler is usually out in the woods camping, spending time with his family, or proving he’s still got it on the baseball field. An avid fan of the game, he spends his downtime either cheering from the stands or sliding into home.
